CNC Machining

What is CNC Machining?

CNC machining is a manufacturing process that utilizes pre-programmed computer software to control the movement of tools and machinery. The process can be used to control a range of complex machinery including grinders, mills, lathes, and routers.

An acronym for Computer Numerical Control, the CNC process is controlled by computer and eliminates the limitations of manual control. This allows us to produce products quickly with extremely tight tolerances and in low-to-high volume runs. There are several types of CNC Machines that we use in our shop including CNC Mills, Lathes, and CNC Machining Centers.
