Dedicated Project Leaders

3-D CNC, Inc. has always understood the importance of good customer service.  It takes dedicated employees to follow through and go the extra mile to make sure customers feel they are getting the best possible value from their precision tooling vendor.  Helping 3-D CNC, Inc. provide that customer care role, are full-time Project Leaders, Jeremy Powell and Kevin Remus.  Customers rely on Jeremy and Kevin to provide help with estimating projects along with consulting and advising assistance to assure best possible precision technology manufacturing processes.  They also take care of routing projects onto our manufacturing floor, maintaining manufacturing schedules per customer due dates, and communicating with both internal and external customers to keep projects rolling, along with many other customer oriented tasks.

Both Jeremy and Kevin have degrees in Machine Tool Trade Technologies and offer many years of machining and toolmaking experience when helping customers with various tooling and machining manufacturing challenges.  They are always available and are very pleased to offer their services to help you.

Streamlining Quotes
One question that often arises from customers wishing to send 3-D CNC, Inc. requests for quote is what print format works best to help expedite the quoting process.  Are electronic files required at this stage? If so, what electronic file format works best

It would be ideal if a dimensioned and toleranced print along with an electronic solid model part file would accompany every line item for every request for quote, but that is not always possible.

For simpler parts, an electronic file of the print in a pdf file format for example, will suffice.  For more complex parts, an electronic file of the print and a solid model part file are a useful combination.  The solid model part file helps to provide a more accurate, timely quote.  3-D CNC, Inc. is able to convert solid model part files into our Solid Works CAD system.  If you do not run Solid Works software, we have found parasolid file formats usually work well for conversion purposes.

We try to discourage customers from sending prints via fax or scanning and emailing poorly copied prints.  Much print detail can be lost in these formats.  It is always useful to let us know electronic versions of prints are available upon request if they are not available up front.
